The Tax Compliance Manager is accountable for the tax affairs of the organization. He will ensure maximum compliance with relevant taxation laws and organizational policies and procedures relative to taxation and manage all tax disputes. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize the company's tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits. Ensure the company's compliance with taxation laws and regulations. Provide guidance and support to the group on tax-related issues. Manage tax audits and disputes, ensuring that the company's position is represented accurately and effectively. Keep up-to-date on taxation laws and regulations, staying informed of changes that may impact the company's tax position. Coordinate with other departments/sections, such as Finance and Legal, to ensure that tax issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate with senior management on tax-related issues and strategies, providing recommendations and updates as necessary. Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy At least five (5) years of work experience focusing on taxation compliance and audits. Knowledge in the retail industry is a plus.
