Sales Engineer – DesignersDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Sales Engineer-Designer Relations is responsible for promoting and influencing the
specification of products among consultants, designers, engineers, and key project decisionmakers. The role focuses on early-stage project engagement, technical support, and relationship
management to secure product specification in B2B projects, thereby supporting overall sales
growth and market penetration. * Specification Development
  • Promotes products to consultants, electrical designers, and project engineers to
secure product specifications in project plans and technical documents. * Organizes technical presentations, product training sessions, and continuingprofessional development (CPD) seminars for designers and consultants. * Engages with project stakeholders during the design phase to influence materialselection and technical compliance. * Monitors project pipelines to identify specification opportunities at early stages.
  • Designer & Influencer Relationship Management
  • Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with consultants, specifiers,
project managers, and key industry influencers. * Coordinates sponsorships, industry events, and professional engagements alignedwith company strategy. * Acts as the primary technical liaison for designers requiring clarifications,documentation, and compliance support. * Technical Support & Advisory
  • Coordinates with Business Development/Technical Teams in providing technical
guidance on product selection, compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), and
relevant industry standards. * Coordinates with Business Development/Technical Teams in reviewing electricalplans, single-line diagrams, and load schedules to ensure proper product
recommendation and specification alignment. * Coordination with Sales Team
  • Aligns closely with Sales Engineers and Account Managers to ensure specified
projects are properly monitored and converted to actual sales. * Provides project updates and specification tracking reports to Sales Management.
  • Assists in bid support activities where specification compliance is critical.
  • Tracks and monitors conversion rate of specified projects into actual sales.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Monitors industry trends, code updates, design practices, and competitor specification
strategies. * Tracks and reports specification wins, losses, and reasons for displacement.
  • Administrative Functions
  • Maintains accurate records of designer visits, presentations conducted, and
specification tracking. * Adheres to company safety policies and professional conduct standards at all times.
  • Miscellaneous
  • Performs other specification-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering or any Engineering course.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer is an advantage.
  • Background in design is an advantage
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply; at least one (1) year of significant experience in
sales engineering, preferably in a manufacturing firm of electrical wire and cable
products or related sales functions. * Experience in dealing with consultants, designers, contractors, or industrial projectstakeholders is highly preferred. * Demonstrates strong presentation skills and ability to influence technical stakeholders.
  • Capable of building long-term professional relationships with consultants and project
influencers. * Able to assess project viability, specification of positioning, and competitive threats.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, cable sizing, ampacity calculations, shortcircuit ratings, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, single- line diagrams, and technical
specifications. * Above average knowledge in key account management, selling principles, financialanalysis and strategic planningMonday – Friday: 8 am to 5 pm | Field work
