The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting and compliance with relevant laws, standards, and policies. This role ensures effective financial management by implementing efficient processes, providing decision support, and leading the accounting team in delivering timely and accurate reports. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards in all company transactions and reports. Implement and continuously improve an efficient Record-to-Report (R2R) process, leveraging available systems and technology. Monitor and review the company's financial position, performance, and cash flows; validate accuracy of reports submitted by the Accounting Team. Finalize and consolidate financial and management reports for review and submission to senior management. Oversee the review of the company's assets and liabilities and assess potential impacts on equity and financial health. Support finance executives in decision-making by preparing and analyzing relevant financial data and resolving key financial issues. Lead, coach, and manage the accounting team by assigning tasks, resolving conflicts, and motivating staff to meet project and reporting deadlines. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; must be a CPA At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting or finance field. With experience in retail or entertainment operations is highly preferred. Proven background in financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership.
