Civil Design Engineer

• Developing civil engineering designs for various projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and site development.
• Conducting site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for design work.
• Creating detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil design elements into overall project plans.
• Performing calculations and analysis to optimize the performance and efficiency of civil engineering systems.
• Selecting appropriate materials and construction techniques for civil engineering projects.
• Reviewing and approving design proposals submitted by subcontractors or external consultants.
• Providing technical support during the construction phase, including responding to requests for information and conducting site inspections.
• Conducting quality assurance checks to verify that construction work meets design specifications.
• Documenting project progress and preparing reports for project stakeholders.
• Staying updated on advancements in civil engineering technology and best practices.
• Reporting directly to the project manager or engineering manager.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the project manager or engineering manager.
