Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for certain plant accounting functions within the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) business. This role is responsible for executing the financial operations of the plant including reporting, analysis, and forecasting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions. This position will have reporting responsibility to the Manager I, Accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Manager I, Accounting and Senior Manager of Plant Finance Operations in business partnership with the Plant Manager, participating and providing insightful inputsPrepare and analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicator reportingProvide meaningful insights on variance drivers against prior year and forecasts, and on plant performance that can drive actions to improve business resultsTrack trends and validate deviations, identify risks and opportunities, and drive mitigation actionsAssist in the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecastsMaintain accurate product costing records and manage year-end cost roll up of new standardsEnsure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions, collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and highlight and mitigate inventory reserve riskPrepare annual operational budgets and periodic forecastsEnsure compliance of reporting and internal controls with relevant accounting standards, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, corporate policies and procedures, and other regularly requirementsAssist internal and external audit during plant financial audits, identify root causes and remediation plans for control deficiencies, and track implementation statusPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA preferredMinimum five years of relevant and progressive finance/accounting experienceStrong working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Oracle and OneStream is a plusHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skillsHas a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnord’s 80/20 principlesLeverages analytical skills to effectively organize and translate data into insights for decision making.Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and direct work to meet deadlines with a sense of urgencyMid shift (3pm to 12am); Hybrid setup of minimum 4x RTO in a month#LI-HybridAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
