You will leverage your expertise in legal procedures and your experience in supporting US companies to assist our legal team in various tasks. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research using various online and print resources.
  • Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and other legal materials.
  • Draft legal correspondence, including pleadings, motions, and briefs (with attorney oversight).
  • Manage and maintain electronic and physical legal files.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including scheduling depositions and witness interviews.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant US laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Law, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, with at least 2 years of experience supporting US-based companies or law firms.
  • Strong understanding of US legal principles, procedures, and terminology, with familiarity in areas such as corporate law, contract law, and litigation.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and present legal information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documents and records.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools, databases, and software applications, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
