
Senior Reconciliation Associate

- Independently perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between internal systems, bank records, and partner transaction reports.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution in coordination with banks, partners, and internal teams.
- Monitor high volumes of transactional data to detect and escalate inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Continuously improve reconciliation processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Own and maintain reconciliation trackers, documentation, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Product, and Compliance to ensure data integrity and smooth process handoffs.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Perform accounts payable and receivable analysis, as required.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the Reconciliation Lead, with recommendations.
- Mentor junior team members, if applicable.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in reconciliation, financial operations, or accounting - preferably in fintech, banking, or digital platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate and make decisions with incomplete or conflicting data.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end reconciliation processes, financial controls, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Experience working with reconciliation tools or financial systems (ERP, ledger systems) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital assets, e-wallets, or fintech environments is a strong plus.
