Education/Qualification Must be a graduate of BS IE, ME, EE, ECE or other engineering course Key Responsibilities 1. Production Operations Monitor daytoday production activities to ensure targets for output, quality, efficiency, and safety are met. Implement process adjustments to maintain smooth workflow. Coordinate with Production Supervisors, Technicians, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues. 2. Process Improvement Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and wastes (e.g., downtime, scrap). Lead continuous improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies. Optimize process parameters and machine settings for consistent performance. 3. Equipment & Technical Support Provide engineering support for troubleshooting equipment breakdowns or abnormalities. Collaborate with Maintenance for preventive and predictive maintenance plans. Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or upgrades. 4. Quality Assurance Ensure all products meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc. Work with QA/QC teams for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). 5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, process standards, and technical documentation. Generate daily, weekly, or monthly production reports. Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance. 6. Safety & Compliance Ensure all operations comply with safety standards (EHS) and company policies. Participate in safety assessments, risk evaluations, and incident investigations. Promote a culture of safety across production teams. 7. CrossFunctional Collaboration Work with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. Support new product introduction (NPI) or change management initiatives. Assist in training operators and production staff on processes and equipment.
