At our core, we prioritize teamwork and foster a culture built on strong collaboration and we are looking for talented people like you.About the roleThe Business Analyst provides the critical data-driven insights and operational support needed to drive Igloo’s commercial strategy. This role is perfect for a graduate who loves turning complex data into clear stories and ensuring complex projects stay on track.Job Responsibilities

Translate Business Needs: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders (brokers, underwriters, operations) and translate them into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Partner Presentations: Assist in creating pitch materials as well as business review data sets for client-facing teams to directly import in their interactions
Bridge Technical & Business Teams: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering/product teams, ensuring solutions accurately reflect business needs.
Solution Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and participate in UAT to ensure system changes meet the required quality standards.
Documentation: Create and maintain key BA artifacts, including process flows, functional specifications, and business rules documentation.

Requirements

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Analytics with proven experience in SQL, Python, Data Storytelling
Domain Knowledge: Essential experience in fintech, insurtech, or the insurance/brokerage industry.
Agile Proficiency: Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
