- Translate Business Needs: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders (brokers, underwriters, operations) and translate them into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner Presentations: Assist in creating pitch materials as well as business review data sets for client-facing teams to directly import in their interactions
- Bridge Technical & Business Teams: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering/product teams, ensuring solutions accurately reflect business needs.
- Solution Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and participate in UAT to ensure system changes meet the required quality standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain key BA artifacts, including process flows, functional specifications, and business rules documentation.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Analytics with proven experience in SQL, Python, Data Storytelling
- Domain Knowledge: Essential experience in fintech, insurtech, or the insurance/brokerage industry.
- Agile Proficiency: Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
