Job DescriptionThe Quality Test Analyst I is primarily responsible for the planning, design and execution of manual and automated test scripts. He/she will have to work closely with senior managers, product analysts, developers and with other fellow Quality Test Analysts in the team. He/she is responsible in performing end-to-end Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities for the project to understand product requirements and develop test plan, test cases, execute tests and reporting of defects and create test cases and data (manual and automated). He/she will also do Batch Production support for HealthCare clients.Key AccountabilitiesCreate/update automated test scripts using HPCC – ECL LanguageExecute test scripts and analyze and record results (manual and automated testing)Ensure that adequate test coverage is providedIdentify defects / anomalies and investigate their cause. Document and track these defectsContribute to improving the QA process and quality standardsTo work with Developers, Product Owners, Product Analysts and other test team members to complete testing tasksTo ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through software releaseTo provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is done according to the schedule and quality requirementsDetermine testing tools and software that can be implemented to aid QA and maximize testing coverageBatch Production Support covering client change requests and Production job failuresSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in any field1-2 years’ experience in software quality assurance or software developmentHave utilized software development methodologies in projectsWorking knowledge of agile technologies and continuous integration/deliveryExperienced in software testing & test automationExperienced with working on ETL and Data warehouse implementation projectsPast experience with testing Web services and LINUX shell scriptsLogical, thorough and task-focused, with an eye for detail, able to rapidly absorb and apply technical informationGood interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with fellow team members and all levels of managementAbility to build and maintain positive rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, and across different time zonesPragmatic, self-directed and self-disciplinedUnderstanding of File Transfer Protocols and compression is an advantageExperience in working in Big Data is a plusKnowledge of HealthCare data management is not required but is an advantageShift RequirementOpen to cover weekend shiftsMust be willing to work rotating shifts (10am-6pm / 6pm-2am)Must be willing to follow BU holiday (US) scheduleQA ResponsibilitiesPerform manual and automated testsWork closely with senior managers, product analysts, developers and with other fellow Quality Test Analysts in the teamResponsible in performing end-to-end Quality Control and Quality Assurance activitiesSupport batch production support and conduct RCA as necessaryWe are committed to providing a fair and accessible hiring process.
