We are on the lookout for a Sr. Android Developer to join our elite team of innovators, creators, and disruptors in the event and influencer marketing industry.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of the Client's Android application, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that align with the client's mission and user needs.Implement clean, modern, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in Android development.Integrate with backend services to ensure a seamless operation between the app's frontend and backend functionalities.Utilize the latest Android SDKs and tools to enhance the app's capabilities and user experience.Manage the Android app lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, and post-launch updates and maintenance.Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing by staying abreast of new technology trends and best practices in Android development.Participate in code reviews and advocate for high coding standards across the team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store.Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java and Jetpack ComposeDeep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes and resolutions.Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including Material Design.Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and continuous integration.Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.Powered by JazzHR
