Responsibilities Assist mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Aid in diagnosing mechanical issues by conducting basic inspections and tests on vehicles or machinery. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Retrieve parts, tools, and materials as needed for repairs and maintenance procedures. Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles or machinery. Support mechanics in disassembling and reassembling components during repair or maintenance tasks. Assist in documenting work performed, including parts used and services provided. Requirements High school diploma or NCII. Prior experience in a similar role or a willingness to learn and grow in a mechanic support position. Basic knowledge of automotive or equipment maintenance principles is advantageous. Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced mechanics. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
