Purpose & Scope: Request for quotations for Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), consultants, project major equipment and any other goods or services that the business needs from time to time. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Ensure sourcing is done in compliance with Sembcorp's procurement policies and procedures, including issuance of Purchase Orders. Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships on behalf of the organization. Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors for EPC contracts, NDAs, supply agreements, consultancy agreements or Long-Term Service Agreements. Work closely with in-house legal counsel to develop contract terms and formulate contractual agreements. Carry out due diligence through contract review of vendor contracts for brownfield projects and to flag any contractual issues and recommend mitigating steps for the organization. Manage contractual disputes, negotiation with contractors and recommend solutions to resolve the contractual issues. Review opportunities to create business savings via negotiation and procurement best practices. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any related field with minimum of 8 years' experience in sourcing, procurement and contract management. Experience in negotiating vendor contracts including EPCs, NDAs, supply agreements, long term service agreements and other vendor contracts. Good communicator/ negotiator. Competent to interpret contract documents for due diligence review. Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Excellent in verbal and written communication Preferred Skills & Characteristics: Relevant experience in utilities and renewable energy industry. Familiar with construction/EPC contracts and international standards such as FIDIC. Able to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
