As a Security Specialist and System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and optimizing organizational IT infrastructure by implementing robust security measures, monitoring system integrity, and ensuring the overall reliability and efficiency of the network. '- At least 7-10 years of experience with Linux system administration and deployment Knowledge of Linux on various distributions, specially RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Hands-on experience in security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management) Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols TLS knowledge (HTTPS, PKI, encryption, etc.) Familiar with automation/orchestration tools such as Ansible and code management tools (GIT, Gitlab) Good understanding of IT technologies (programming, cloud architecture, micro-services, automation) and DevOps practices (DevOps, TDD, CI/CD) IP network troubleshooting (Wireshark) Experience with Red Hat security modules like SELinux Familiarity with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools Experience with vulnerability assessment and management tools Experience in conducting penetration testing, interpretation and mitigating vulnerabilities Proven ability to identify threats, develop or recommend countermeasures, and perform advanced trend analysis Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to IT infrastructure, security tools, and best practices Understanding of risk assessment methods and technologies Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) preferred
