The Project Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative electrical design solutions for solar projects, supporting all phases from planning to construction. Key responsibilities include managing multiple project deliverables, ensuring compliance with technical standards and schedules, translating complex concepts into clear designs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality, owner-aligned project execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend technical and all project related meetings, as assigned.
- Coordinate with all the departments involved.
- Develop project schedule according to approved plans and contract.
- Ensure projects are executed according to approved timeline, budget, safety and technical standards.
- Ensure proper resources management (Procurement and Logistics).
- Manage contractor engagements during implementation phase.
- Manage manpower and contractor work progress and performance.
- Develop and execute plans for quality construction implementation and audit.
- Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports that are complete, accurate and in accordance with sound utility-scale solar engineering practices.
- Check design computations performed by EPC design team when appropriate.
- Involved technically with the resolution of design challenges that may include performing field investigation or observations and when necessary resolving discrepancies between multiple sources of information.
- Work closely with and provides guidance to Consultant EPC engineering teams and design engineers.
- Recommend alterations to development criteria and design features to improve quality.
- Support the other units within the Organization during the start-up and commissioning of the Solar Power Plants.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working in the field as Project Engineer for solar projects is required. Experience in horizontal construction/solar projects supervision are required.
- Knowledgeable in the Monitoring, installation, testing and operation of solar PV systems.
- Hands on experience in handling all stages of Engineering Design & technical issues related to Solar PV power plants and main equipment
- Knowledge and skills of overall Construction, Commissioning, Project Management, Risk Management & Contract Management of Solar Power Plants
- Knowledge of grid connection and electrical substation (main components and functioning)
- Should be willing to be assigned in our TANAUAN or MARAGONDON site.
