We are seeking a talented Lead Game Economist to join our team. You will be working with our in-house team of gamers and analysts alongside the Assets and Ventures arm.Your key responsibilities are to identify, quantify, and propose optimized yield generation strategies in different game economies by utilizing in-game asset generation or asset modification mechanisms, resource gathering and management, NFT or token investment recommendations, or any permutation of the previously identified methods. Your analyses should be flexible and variable that it takes into consideration player behavior and forecasted behavioral shifts as various economic and gameplay designs are implemented.Responsibilities:

Analyze in-game economies to identify the various strategies available for yield generation
Utilize spreadsheets and data analysis techniques to quantify and visualize the recommended strategies
Monitor market trends and player behavior and a continuous adaptation of implemented strategies
Communicate key recommendations and the full picture of the strategies proposed to the broader team
Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall gaming investment strategies
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in cryptocurrency trading, NFT trading, and web3 gaming

Requirements

Strong gaming background with a wide exposure to various gaming genres
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the data or finance industry
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns
Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) to manipulate and analyze data to support strategies being recommended
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong understanding of web3 technologies, blockchain technology, blockchain games, and decentralized applications
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
