Job Title: Principal - Senior High School Reports to: Academic Director, Thames International Employment Type: Full-time Location: Quezon City (Face-to-Face Campus) and/or Remote (Online SHS) Job Purpose The Principal of Thames International SHS leads the academic and operational management of the senior high school program, ensuring excellence in both face-to-face and online learning environments. The Principal is responsible for academic leadership, faculty management, student success, and alignment with DepEd regulations and Thames' global education standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Leadership - Oversee the curriculum delivery for both face-to-face and online SHS tracks, ensuring alignment with DepEd standards and Thames' focus on entrepreneurship, creative industries, and digital skills. - Ensure integration of 21st-century competencies, micro-credentials, and global best practices into the curriculum. - Lead academic planning, scheduling, and assessment systems for both modalities. 2. Faculty Management - Recruit, supervise, and mentor faculty and subject matter experts for both on-campus and online delivery. - Implement faculty training in innovative pedagogies, digital tools, and student engagement strategies. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a collaborative and mission-driven faculty culture. 3. Student Success and Well-being - Oversee student admissions, orientation, and academic advising, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all learners. - Monitor student performance, retention, and intervention programs for both face-to-face and online learners. - Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven school culture across both learning environments. 4. Operational Management - Manage the daily operations of the SHS face-to-face campus and supervise the technical and academic operations of the online SHS. - Oversee resource allocation, including schedules, materials, and learning platforms (LMS) for both modalities. - Ensure compliance with DepEd regulations, including reporting, documentation, and school accreditation. 5. Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as the primary liaison with parents, students, and faculty for all SHS matters. - Collaborate with Thames leadership to align SHS programs with the institution's strategic goals, particularly in entrepreneurship, digital economy, and international pathways. - Represent Thames SHS in DepEd meetings, academic networks, and relevant public engagements. Qualifications and Experience - Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Doctorate preferred). - At least 5 years of experience in school administration, preferably in senior high school or tertiary education. - Proven experience managing hybrid or online learning programs is highly desirable. - Strong familiarity with DepEd Senior High School policies and global educational trends.
