- Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the strategic cybersecurity plan and initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team, ensuring continuous development and adherence to best practices.
- Policy Development and Governance: Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to cybersecurity frameworks.
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and audits. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Incident Management: Develop and enhance the incident response and recovery plans. Lead incident response activities and investigations.
- Security Architecture: Oversee the design and implementation of secure network and system architectures. Ensure the integration of security in the development and deployment of IT systems and applications.
- Access Management: Oversee the implementation and management of access control systems and protocols. Ensure the secure management of identities and access within the organization.
- Security Awareness and Training: Develop and implement a security awareness and training program for all employees. Conduct regular security drills and simulations.
- Vendor Management: Manage and assess the security posture of third-party vendors and partners. Ensure contractual cybersecurity obligations are met.
- Technology Management: Evaluate, select, and oversee the deployment of cybersecurity technologies and tools. Ensure the regular updating and patching of systems and software.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular cybersecurity reports to executive management. Communicate cybersecurity status and initiatives to stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is required.
- Certifications like CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and SIEM solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive data-driven strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in risk assessment and management, including the ability to identify and prioritize security risks.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Experience in managing resource allocation, project timelines, deliverables, and vendor relationships.
