Role reports to the Agency Information Management & Reporting Lead (who reports to Agency MIS & Analytics Head, under Distribution Operations & Analytics Department) and has the following key accountabilities:Accurate and timely release of Agency performance reports to effectively monitor the Channel’s various performance KPIs, performance & achievement vs. targetsAccurate and timely release of management reports for various stakeholders (CAO, Sales Management Teams, Regional Office and other business units)Accurate and timely release of periodic sales promos, incentives and conferences results to regularly monitor the achievement of agents and leaders vs. promo mechanics and drive the objectives of the sales campaignsExpected to collaborate and work closely with various key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Sales Management Team, other Agency support teams and business unitsPosition Responsibilities:Information Management & Reporting:Assist the MIS Team Lead in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the MIS Team including but not limited to the following (Processing and simulation of Promos, SIP, Incentives, local/regional reports, projects/process improvements).Preparation & timely release of periodic sales performance reports to effectively monitor Channel performance on various KPIs (APE, headcount, activity, productivity, etc), ensuring that the reports are processed and released in an accurate, timely & well-organized mannerPreparation & timely release of reporting requirements for both local and regional stakeholdersOthers:Participation and involvement in various Distribution projects, programs & initiativesClose coordination with various departments (with Agency distribution and with other business units)Periodic updates for promos, incentives, contests and conferences, ensuring results are aligned to the mechanicsSimulation & processing of Recruitment Financing Programs and Sales Incentive Plan of SMTsData consolidation enabling creation of visual dashboards (charts, graphs, diagrams) of various KPIs for an efficient presentation of data, allowing a strategic view for analysisContinuous improvement and enhancement of current reports are processed and periodic review of reports to ensure they remain relevant vs. the key strategies and KPIs being drivencreation of new reports that may be required following the strategy and objectives and strategy of the ChannelWork process documentationRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management or related courses2 years of experience in the life insurance industry in a distribution performance reporting role and advantagePreferred Qualifications:Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Word and PowerPointDerive key insights from volumes of dataKnowledgeable in financial spreadsheets preparation, trend analysis, data simulation and report commentary writingStrong numerical & data processing skillsHas attention to detail and accuracy, methodical & process orientedAble to effectively prioritize deliverables and multi-taskAble to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within the agreed SLAPositive attitude, works and functions well in a team environmentAble to work under pressure to meet deadlinesGood written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsTechnical programming skills, data processing & simulationWhen you join our team:We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.About Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
