- Lead the end-to-end design of utility-scale solar system, including site layout, electrical design, energy modeling, shading analysis, and performance optimization to maximize system efficiency.
- Develop high-quality pre-sales and early-stage designs that are safe, constructible, and ready for execution during the project delivery phase.
- Select and specify equipment such as modules, inverters, racking systems, and balance-of-system components, ensuring technical suitability, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable grid compliance requirements, engineering standards, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs translate seamlessly into construction, minimizing rework and design-related delays.
- Own the quality and accuracy of design outputs, maintaining strong quality control processes, meeting reasonable turnaround times, and minimizing errors in analysis and documentation.
- Monitor and report design productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics, providing regular insights to the Head of Solutions on team and individual performance.
- Take full accountability for design deliverables throughout the pre-sales and project lifecycle, from concept through construction readiness.
- At least 3 years of experience in solar system design or battery design. Preferable in Commercial, Residences, etc.
- Experience in drawing tools like CAD or Sketch ups.
- Ability to manage design workflows and expectations from the sales team
- Ability to interpret and apply Australian Standards relevant to solar
- Strong communication skills to provide clear technical advice internally and externally
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): In this role, you are required to work hybrid in the first month (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home), then will transition into full time remote work. Working hours from 6.00 AM - 3.00 PM PHT.
