The Financial Supervisor (Certified Public Accountant) oversees day-to-day accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains full compliance with BIR requirements. This role supervises the finance team, prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax filings (including AFS and GIS), implements internal controls, manages budgets and expense monitoring, and provides management with timely financial insights to support strategic decisions. 1. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor and review branch and company-wide financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Provide management with timely financial reports and recommendations for decision-making. 2. Accounting Operations Supervise daily accounting transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and supported by complete documentation. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments. 3. BIR / Taxation / Other Gov&apost Permits Oversee and ensure timely and accurate filing of all BIR-required tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other applicable taxes). Prepare all BIR-related requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including Audited Financial Statements (AFS), General Information Sheet (GIS), and other mandated reports. Prepare and monitor other government permits like SSS, etc. Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, deadlines, and changes in tax laws. Maintain organized documentation for all tax-related transactions and address any BIR inquiries or notices. 4. Budgeting & Cost Control Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure alignment with company goals. Review purchase requests and expense reports for accuracy and necessity. 5. Internal Controls & Compliance Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, standards, and government regulations. Conduct periodic audits of branches to verify accuracy of financial records. 6. Team Supervision & Coordination Supervise and guide finance staff in day-to-day tasks. Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes. 7. Management Support Provide COO/Management with financial data for strategic planning. Assist in preparing reports for banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Support special projects and management directives related to finance. 8. Payments & Payables Management (Daily Task) Review, request, and process all company payments/payables in coordination with the COO. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of company obligations and reimbursements. Maintain proper documentation and approval for all payables. 9. Payment Verification (Daily Task) Confirm and check all incoming payments from patients across all branches daily. Verify and reconcile account receivables from third-party partners (e.g., HMO, X-ray labs, and other external providers). Ensure proper recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all payment transactions. Address any discrepancies in coordination with the COO and Supervisors. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. License: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - active and in good standing. Experience: At least 3-5 years of solid experience in accounting, finance, or auditing; supervisory experience preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and budgeting. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Other: Willing to travel to different branches as needed.
