Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is hiring on behalf of the exclusive official distributor and retailer of a luxury automotive brand in the Philippines. We are seeking a Junior Accountant to assist the accounting department with daily tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. You will work under the supervision of senior accountants and may be responsible for tasks like journal entries, accounts payable and receivable. Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Work Arrangement: Full onsite Location: BGC, Taguig City Key responsibilities: Handles preparation (check printing, cutting and signing) and releasing of check disbursements to various payees. Preparing and communicating daily banking activity reports. Reconciling bank deposits and payments. Handles preparation (check printing, manager check, cutting and signing) and releasing of check disbursements to various payees. Handles recording, reconciliation and accrual of interest income on money market placements, bank accounts and related transactions. Prepares movement reports to monitor the loan drawdowns and money market placements. Preparation of Cash Flow report. Maintain banking relationship. Performs other tasks related to the above enumeration that may be assigned from time to time. Key requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, accounting or related field required At least 6 months work experience SAP knowledge is required Relevant experience in Treasury and Banking Operations Knowledge of bank loan processes and documents Knowledge of collection, payables and cash processes Knowledge in short-term investing on secured bank products Mastery of the English language Mastery of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word and Powerpoint Show more Show less
