A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in senior housing or healthcare real estate. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong command of Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently. Perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the viability of potential investments, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and investment return analyses. Assist in the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and legal due diligence. Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee, highlighting the potential risks and opportunities of proposed investments. Monitor and report on the performance of existing portfolio assets, including analyzing operational data and financial statements to assess asset health and identify value-add opportunities. Work closely with asset management and operations teams to implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing property value. Stay abreast of trends, regulations, and developments within the senior housing and broader real estate markets that could impact our investment strategy.
