Specialist - Procurement (French & English)

- Handle the end-to-end process of Purchase Requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage Purchase Orders, working with various stakeholders to meet their procurement needs
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and ease of collaboration
- Facilitating smooth transitions between Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate and resolve any issues related to invoicing, delivery, and other procurement matters
- Oversee the entire procure-to-pay process, from requisition to invoice, and efficiency in every step
- Verify and match goods receipts with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analyze spending patterns to identify business trends and enhance procurement efficiency
- Prepare materials for strategy workshops and planning sessions
- Monitor progress against strategic category plans and procurement target
- Validate findings and recommendations with procurement leaders and stakeholders.
- Aid in developing work plans to execute agreed-upon strategies and support leadership in drafting executive papers, contracts, and business cases for strategic initiatives
- Lead specific projects across the procurement team
- Manage project stakeholders and risk
- Develop and deliver training in analysis, problem solving, project planning & governance, business case development and other skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement and or supply chain
- Proficiency in relationship management and strategy development
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in English and French languages required
- Must be willing to work between 9:00PM to 6:00AM or 10:00PM to 7:00AM
