Extenteam is looking for a Remote Reservation Sales Specialist to join our growing organization and undertake the following tasks:Position Overview:The focus of this role is building relationships with potential guests to drive direct bookings. This includes helping the potential guest with finding the best home to fit their experience. Once the guest has made their reservation, they will have additional questions and sometimes concerns that you will be responsible for. The goal is to ensure they have a seamless experience during their stay. This can look like correspondence with additional departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and owner services.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Build relationships with the potential guest to create bookings.2. Having a sense of urgency with all communication correspondence through phone, email, and text messaging3. Working with the supervisor on driving revenue sales via listening to call recordings, reviewing department KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and outbound calling initiatives.Required Skills and Abilities1. Comfortable with challenging guest conversations.2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills3. Strong with organization and attention to detail.4. Knowledge of vacation rental areas.5. Ability to ebb and flow with seasonal demands.6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.7. Ability to adapt to software changes and implementations.8. Ability and availability to be on call and work after hours and weekends as scheduled/needed.The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong independent work capabilities, demonstrating the ability to work remotely and self-direct effectively.
