While it has grown in size and business interests, locally and internationally, and prospects of the further expansion remain on the horizon, the John Clements Consultants Group has maintained its focus on its core competencies: recruitment and training.The RoleYou will be responsible for:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Month and end-year process | accounts payable/receivable | cash receipts | general ledger | payroll and utilities | treasury, budgeting | cash forecasting | revenue and expenditure variance analysis | capital assets reconciliations | trust account statement reconciliations | check runs | fixed asset activity | debt activity
  • Check the day-to-day entries encoded in the accounting books (accounting software/excel file) together with the schedules.
  • Check and ensure timeliness of filling/submission of reportorial requirements to BIR.
  • Check the monthly Account Package and Cash Flow Forecast.
  • Provide management, business, and tax consultancy.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Provide recommendations. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
Ideal Profile
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
  • Must be a licensed CPA.
  • With at least 5-7 years of experience in the related field.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software (QuickBooks) and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
