Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Engineer who is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with expertise in cost estimation to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our projects by accurately estimating costs, preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Material Take-Offs (MTO), labor requirements, and other cost-related documentation. This role requires strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering and exceptional proficiency in cost estimation techniques.Responsibilities: * Utilize engineering principles and expertise to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects, including but not limited to HVAC systems, piping networks, equipment installations, and industrial machinery.

Conduct comprehensive reviews of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements and scope.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Take-Offs (MTO) based on project requirements, material specifications, and industry standards.
Analyze labor requirements, equipment costs, material prices, subcontractor quotations, and other factors to accurately estimate project costs.
Utilize cost estimation software and tools effectively to streamline the estimation process and enhance accuracy.
Prepare and present cost estimation reports, proposals, and recommendations to project stakeholders, including clients, management, and internal teams.
Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any changes or deviations promptly.
Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain competitive bids from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and cost factors relevant to mechanical engineering projects, continuously improving cost estimation processes and techniques.
