They are looking for a first-class Broker Support Officer to join the team. This role would be suited to someone who is passionate about joining a high-growth start-up in the fintech space, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In particular, you will:
- Work closely with the Regional Director VIC/SA to provide support in building the portfolio and growth in sales
- Monitor session report data analysis and make proactive calls
- Follow up incomplete applications
- Manage booked call overflow, including welcome calls and scenario callbacks
- Responsible for the shared distribution inbox admin. Including Updating broker details and allocating BDM appointments
- Incoming call cover during days the sales team is on the road and at PD Days
- Conduct scenario workshopping with brokers and work with the Regional Director to properly consider complex scenarios
- Conduct post-scenario workshopping follow-up calls with brokers to drive them to submit an application
- A background in working with the Australian third party distribution channel (for mortgage brokers or with brokers for lenders)
- A good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to repayment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
- Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- 1+ years of experience with broker support functions and an effortless ability to build and maintain strong relationships with their broker partners
- Some lived experience in this space and a good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to settlement
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Tenacious attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A track record of getting it done. You favour delivery over talk
- Passion to learn and develop, the drive to get stuck in and own your area of the business
- Strong organisational skills - you will be managing multiple files, requests and identifying process improvements
