Why does this role exist?We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Freelance Instructional Designer who is responsible for creating end-to-end, multi-faceted, effective, and engaging e-learning material to transform our virtual assistants into highly capable, dependable, and trustworthy work-from-home individuals who can keep up with our client's ever-evolving requirements.The impact you'll make:1. Administrative Tasks:
  • Ensure project/program documentation is accurately recorded and maintained on time.
2. Content Development:
  • Create end-to-end, multi-faceted, effective, and engaging learning materials (infographics, slide decks, instructional videos) for people with different skill sets and areas of expertise.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts in creating e-learning courses that cover advanced topics outside of the field of expertise of the Instructional Designer.
  • Create effective assessments that accurately measure learners' understanding of the material as well as their ability to apply their understanding through practical situations.
  • Research and recommend learning methods to ensure that the team is keeping up with trends.
  • Adhere to branding guidelines provided by the company when designing learning materials.
  • Maintain, revise, and update existing learning materials based on conferred changes such as changes in request, process alignment, and stakeholders' requests for content and design review, modification, and/or major rehaul.
  • Incorporate feedback for all types of learning materials from learners, instructors, and stakeholders to improve continuously.
3. Program Management:
  • Observe due diligence in completing projects and/or fulfilling commitments within the specified timeframe.
  • Communicate progress updates and delays promptly and continue to
coordinate with concerned parties until resolved.4. Coordination:
  • Work with the Assistant Training Manager in coordinating with other departments to ensure that materials adhere to request guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Training Manager about their evaluations of existing material and work with them in coming up with the next actions.
5. Miscellaneous:
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Psychology, Multimedia Arts, and other related fields.
  • Experience Required - At least 1-2 years experience in Instructional Design, or at the very least, experience creating and developing learning content.
  • Knowledgeable in course development software and authoring tools following the SCORM format.
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Canva, and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
  • Has experience working on curriculum planning and development with proven success in this area.
  • Has an excellent eye for good/effective design and layout.
  • Must be able to engage the audience with interactive discussions and relevant situations enhancing their learning.
  • Can multitask effectively, and has superior time/task management skills.
  • Solid understanding of different training/learning styles and strategies for different types of learners, able to understand and break down/simplify complex concepts and adjust their language/approach depending on the audience.
  • Must be comfortable working from Monday - Friday, between 7-9 AM to 4-6 PM PHT (flexible start time).
  • Must be comfortable with receiving $4.5/hour as a pay rate through Dee.
  • Must be willing to undergo train-the-trainer sessions for 3-4 weeks.

  • Exceptional presentation skills- proficient or at the very least, knowledgeable about creating presentations through Google Slides, Canva, and/or other related software.
  • Strong communication skills: efficient, effective, provides context, considers the audience/impact, timely transfer of information and responses. C1-C2 English Proficiency (CEFR).
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback as well as maintain a good feedback loop.
  • Ability to pay attention to the little things.
  • Able to work independently, able to make a detailed, well-thought-out plan based on a rough idea/concept.
