Accounting Generalist

• Creates and issues invoices timely and accurately
• Validates all supporting documents related to the sales transactions
• Performs matching of data entered in the system against the supporting documents
• Validates and process credit memos
• Track exceptions between delivery and invoice registers
• Maintains customer files
• Prepare reports related to Invoicing and Accounts Receivables as required to complete the month-end closing procedures

• Receives request for payments from suppliers and internal customers (employees) such as but not limited to:
• Local and foreign suppliers' invoices and billing statements
• Employee advances, liquidations, and reimbursements
• Checks and verifies the completeness and validity of the requests submitted in accordance with company policy and BIR requirements
• Coordinates with the requestor and/or supplier for any clarification or discrepancies noted
• Maintains vendor’s contracts and information
• Creates accounting entries based on the request for payments received in accordance with applicable accounting standards, company policy and BIR requirements
• Ensures that all obligations are properly accounted for and processed on time
• Prepares BIR Form 2307 in relation to the documents process
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable and Treasury team in the head office

• Assist the Senior Accounting Generalist in the inventory-related reconciliation or inquiries from Head Office
• Assist the Senior Accounting Generalist in the fixed asset count and/or reconciliation requirement
• Perform duties for monthly accounting close activities for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Support quarterly or/and annual inquiries, requests, and activities originating from external auditors and tax consultants
• File and maintain all accounting records and reports within his function
• Other Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
• Complies with the Company’s Quality Management System

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• CPA is preferred but not required
• With at least 1 year experience
• Experience in audit, accounting outsourcing or shared services is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot, Lookups, formulas etc.)
• Experience in any ERP (Microsoft NAV, SAP, Quickbooks)
• Highly trainable
