As the Head of Technical Centre, you will play a pivotal role in managing operations across all divisions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, creating innovative recipes for client ideation, leading product sampling efforts, mobilising your team to provide technical support for sales and marketing activities, supporting key accounts with tailored demos, consolidating demo requests and schedules, and ensuring new team members receive comprehensive orientation and training.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Technical Centre, ensuring bakery equipment are well maintained
- Create recipes for client ideation and in-house recipe requests
- Lead product sampling, ensuring standard quality of sampling produced by all regions
- Mobilise the team to provide technical and logistical support for all sales and marketing events/activities
- Provide support for Key Accounts/One on One demos which include creating a recipe that matches the client and assigned sales team requirement
- Consolidate and coordinate sample demo requests and demo schedules
- Ensure new members are provided with proper orientation programme and education, provide product training, product manuals
The ideal candidate for this Head of Technical Centre position is a certified bread and pastry chef who is familiar with the Philippine market. You should preferably have a background in Food Technology and/or Nutrition, as well as related industry education such as Baking Culinary School. You will bring excellent bakery and pastry skills to the role, with proficiency in all aspects including breads, pastries, and cake decoration. Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to lead a team effectively, while your ability to compose training materials and execute training will be crucial for staff development. Your organisational skills will be key in managing multiple projects, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Certified Bread and Pastry Chef familiar with Philippine market
- Preferably a Food Technologist and/or Nutrition background
- Background in related industry education (e.g. Baking Culinary School)
- Excellent Bakery and Pastry skills, skilled in all aspects, breads, pastries, and cake decoration
- Knowledgeable in bakery management and operations
- Good verbal and written communication and presentations skills
- Good leadership, interpersonal skills, and a team player
- Ability to compose training materials and execute training
- Organised and efficient in managing multiple projects
- Well versed in Microsoft office applications
