The HR Assistant will provide support to the HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This role involves maintaining employee records, assisting timekeeping and payroll, assisting with recruitment processes, coordinating training activities, and handling inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.Responsibilities:1. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.2. Oversee timekeeping systems, including monitoring employee attendance, managing timesheet submissions,and addressing discrepancies or issues.3. Assist in payroll transactions including but not limited to salary adjustments, overtime calculations, anddeductions, and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.4. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and conducting initialscreenings.5. Support employee onboarding and orientation processes, including completing new hire paperwork andfacilitating training sessions as needed.6. Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update relevant HRdatabases and systems accordingly.7. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries from employees.8. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, providing guidance andsupport as needed.9. Assist in organizing and coordinating training and engagement/development activities.10. Assist in preparing HR-related reports and presentations as needed for management and other stakeholders.11. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.12. Provide administrative support to the People department, such as filing documents, responding to emails, andorganizing meetings.13. Handle additional tasks as deemed necessary.RequirementsSkills & Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.2. Proven experience in an administrative role, with exposure to HR functions and responsibilities.3. Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employeerelations.4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employeesat all levels of the organization.8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.9. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.10.
