Reporting to Operation Manager, you will be acting as a servant leader and coach, the Scrum Master increases team efficiency, motivating agile teams, removing impediments, and overseeing changes that will ensure quality and timely execution to meet business objectives. This position is based in Parañaque City, Philippines.Your responsibilities

Facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, sprint reviews/demos, and other meetings as needed
Building team cohesion through collaboration, effective communication, openness, respect, and transparency
Leading teams in implementing scrum to maximize velocity. Working with Product Owner to ensure highest value features are delivered at agreed time
Influencing completion of complex, initiatives spanning new products and technologies and product line extensions with an emphasis on commitment and follow-through within an established time-box
Coaching and developing team members, as needed, on agile and scrum processes
Collaborating throughout the organization, with stakeholders to identify feedback opportunities for continuous team improvement
Creating a culture of learning and excellence through implementing scrum practices, agile methodologies, and technical excellence practices
Maintaining relevant metrics to aid in the guidance of the scrum teams towards efficient processes and outcomes

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
1 to 3 years of experience serving in a full-time scrum master role for software development teams that were diligently applying scrum principles and practices
Knowledge of agile frameworks / methods (i.e. scrum, kanban) and an understanding of software development life cycle models
Scrum Master Certification - PSM 1 is preferred
Outstanding skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, coaching and increasing transparency
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques
Understanding and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: user stories, continuous Integration, continuous testing, continuous deployment, automated testing, etc
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
