This role focuses on teaching, motivating, guiding, and engaging trainees in Clinical Operations to ensure a high impact learner experience, knowledge retention, and job satisfaction. You are responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating Clinical Operations training programs, initiatives, and training events. There will be global exposure in this Senior Cardiac Technician Trainer position. Specific Responsibilities Include: Train new cardiac technicians on utilizing iRhythm's proprietary Quality Analysis tool(s) to ensure clinical accuracy of output for clinicians. Instruct new hires on arrhythmia recognition and interpretation strategy. Guide new and current technicians in developing their critical thinking skill. Lead advanced level courses to upskill current technicians in Clinical Operations. Engage, motivate, and maintain order of in-person and virtual classrooms. Design lesson plans and/or curricula, create training materials, and utilize a variety of training methods emphasizing adult learning methodologies. Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness of training programs. Collaborate with Systems Engineering to execute training for new software releases. Drive innovation through creative content creation and delivery of training to keep pace with evolving learning environment. Apply instructional design/adult learning principles to deliver superior learners' experience. Assist Training Supervisor/Manager with development of Cardiac Technician Trainers. Collaborate with Systems Engineering on software improvement projects. Be a liaison to the management team, QA team, Coaches, and Clinical Scholars. Attend medical and professional conferences as needed. Participate in special projects as determined by Clinical Training or ClinOps leaders. Take ownership of personal/professional development. About you: Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer, teacher or instructor. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. CCT certification is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a position requiring ECG/EKG interpretation or other specialty requiring arrhythmia interpretation is preferred. Must possess a passion for teaching and assisting others to excel. Exceptional facilitation skill in group and 1:1 settings. Quick learner who can rapidly master complex clinical concepts and new technologies. Demonstrated confidence, self-awareness, and situational awareness to effectively command an in-person or a virtual classroom. Ability to simplify complex subjects to improve comprehension for a diverse range of learners. Creative developer of training materials. Experience with developing lesson plans or learning pathways is required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Experience with content development software such as Articulate and Adobe is preferred. Self-starter who consistently seek to elevate their team through process improvement and implementation of new ideas. Highly competent in the following areas: verbal and written communication, data analysis, multitasking, effective decision making, ability to work under pressure. Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization. Work creatively, be flexible, and think on one's feet in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
