About the position and responsibilities:This is a boutique production company. In this role the editor will work alongside the owner and external freelancers to create documentary style edits (3-5 minutes) as well as corporate sizzle reels, branded content featuring athletes, and short form social content.Additionally, the editor will support Mocolab ( a cinema robotics and motion control studio owned by the same owner. This work will involve scaling the content marketing for the Mocolab brand by editing video podcast and tutorial episodes about the robotic offering into Youtube episodes and then repurposing that content into social-first edits for Instagram, LinkedIn and paid search.RequirementsQualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience

Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects
Above average to excellent communication skills; minor accent is acceptable
Seeking a multifaceted and versatile video editor; and also has supplementary skills as a motion graphics artist
Strong social media savvy as most of our edits are targeted towards young men, whether for the robot or in our productions
Has the ability to work towards slicker production value with longer form storytelling when needed is a major plus
Modern style and tech focused as opposed to hand drawn and artsy
