We are responsible for conducting in-depth investigations of platform-related incidents by conducting interviews with our driver-partners and passengers, ensuring compliance with orders and requests for information from relevant authorities, as well as liaising and partnering with relevant government authorities to maintain the Platform's safety and quality. We also help influence the overall strategic direction of the company by supporting the top management with risk management and safety insights and advisory. Through the team's commitment to constant development and innovation in line with business direction and safety policies, fair and equal implementation of Grab's Driver/Delivery Partner Guidelines is continuously upheld.The Team helps in promoting a safe and secure Grab platform for both Passenger and Driver-Partner. As a team, we are involved with day-to-day activities that include providing expertise and advice for the effective and efficient functioning of all investigation processes and enforcement-related issues.If being constantly on the move and problem-solving excites you, this is the role for you. Platform safety is Grab's number one priority and you will be required to manage and influence stakeholders across the different functions and business verticals, both existing and emerging, to ensure that we deliver a safe experience for all users. We are focused on our external users - from drivers to passengers; merchants to consumers - and we seek to create a safer everyday for all of them as Grab grows to become an everyday superapp.Job Role and Purpose:

Introduce and implement strategic and innovative measures to strengthen platform quality and safety, while assisting in the execution of the overall safety and risk management processes of the company
Ensure incident response and safety risk management processes are standardized, implemented, and operationalized across different cities nationwide.
Create and strengthen avenues for coordination with teams across the company and in different localities

Key Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs Safety Enforcement Senior Associate, the following are the main areas of focus:

Operationalizing strategic processes/changes and leveraging on tools to automate manual operations
Making sense of data on user behavior and providing sound insights on issues and potential improvements on driver partners, merchant-partners and passengers' safety
Developing plans to execute strategy and analyze business proposals that can help the team to shape the overall safety culture of the community
Monitoring incident and case endorsements from authorized channels
Supporting the safety enforcement operations of cities and teams by providing them with expertise and guidance on various cases and incidents handling
Maintaining applicable internal records related to investigation(s), including accurate and timely updates to case tracking and monthly reporting applications
Executing distinct tasks within a process accurately, timely, and with minimal guidance
Escalating risks and issues on time to enable proper mitigation and risk management

QualificationsQualifications:

Experience/Background in audit, safety, crisis, risk management, and related processes
Demonstrated experience in project management and incident management
Successful candidate must have an existing relationship and knowledge of how to work with law enforcement authorities or government agencies
An analytical mindset to identify and critically analyze quantitative and qualitative patterns that are associated with safety trends.
The ability to present data comprehensively and accurately, with the drive to execute actionable findings
The breadth of thought to develop a variety of complex policies and procedures with minimal guidance to prevent and mitigate safety risks
Excellent problem-solving/decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization
The flexibility to work cross-functionally, independently, or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment.
Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
Excellent data-keeping and management skills and well-versed in Excel
Must be willing to travel and visit different cities nationwide

The Nice to Haves:

Law, traffic regulatory, or government work-related background
Knowledgeable about local safety, riding community in PH context and trends and/or industry safety practices and standards.
Working knowledge of Cebuano language, along with excellent command of the English and Filipino languages
