PMI's shift from selling cigarettes to our new smoke-free products has changed the way we work. New products bring new challenges - in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning. You'll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your 'day to day' . Maintenance and monitoring of blends and leaf stocks according to budget blend formula and blending principles whilst meeting smoke delivery targets and assuring a consistent smoking quality of semi - and finished products. . Perform leaf quality inspections and recognitions of new arrived or stored lots at external Warehouses in close co-operation with the Supervisor / Manager QA Leaf Services prior to tobacco acceptance. . Ensure timely input of inspection results into the Fulcrum Apps and Lot Reception Module. . Check and approve the blend orders for the daily production while ensuring the availability of all blend components. . Implement and maintain the control strategy for tobacco materials including acceptance criteria for each incoming material in accordance with PMI guidelines, procedures and statistical tools for sampling and analysis. . Ensure strong partnership with internal/external stakeholders focusing on collaboration and information exchange to ensure excellent quality and Compliance with PMI requirements, standardization, and continuous improvement. Who we're looking for: You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or agriculture related courses. You have at least 5 years of experience working in an Engineering department of a high-volume consumer goods manufacturing company preferably with good knowledge of all tobacco types. You must also be amenable to work in our Batangas Plant with occasional visits to Marikina Plant.
