Farm Development
- Manages the preparation of the farm for the development activities from clearing, staking and lining, holing, hauling of seedlings and the planting/replanting.
- Prepare budget for the development activities. Plan-out the activities to determine the timeline.
- Determine the number of seedlings needed for planting/replanting.
- Coordinates with the Nursery for the delivery of seedling for planting and replanting.
- Coordinates with the Trucking group for the available vehicle to transport the seedlings.
- Determine the number of manpower needed and facilitate the hiring of these manpower.
- Manage the conduct of maintenance and fertilization activities of the crops until their productive stage

- Prepares annual farm budget in terms of maintenance and fertilization programs.
- Conducts bunch census to determine the expected production volume and the effectiveness of the fertilization and maintenance programs.
- Establish harvesting and tapping areas to be assigned to the respective harvesters and tappers.
- Establish harvesting and tapping schedules/cycles of areas within the farm.
- Manages the status of compliance to these schedules.
- Establish routes and schedules of in-field haulers to ensure that the daily produce are hauled to the pick-up stations for delivery to the loading ramps/ storage areas.
- Monitors the daily harvests and coordinate with the Truckmaster the pick-up schedule for delivery to the mill.
- Coordinate with the mills on the status of deliveries in terms of delivery time and volume to assist the mills in their mill schedules.
- Coordinate with the mills’ QC groups in terms of the quality status of the delivered farm products. Participates in action plans to improve the quality of delivered products.
- Inspects condition of roads and provides feedback to the Road Maintenance Team for needed repairs.
- Maintains an inventory list of all farm equipment and animals used in the farm.
- Ensures that all farm equipment and animals are well-maintained.
- Ensures that the preventive maintenance of all in-field haulers and skylines are performed.
- Ensures that standards for livestock (horse) raising are followed.
- Ensures agricultural practices and standards are in place and performed.
- Analyzes, manages, and mitigates risks that the farm may encounter.
- Plans ahead to prevent problems and resolves any emerging ones.
- Conducts investigations for issues and incidents to prevent recurrence, using acceptable problem-solving tools.
- Tools and supplies inventory and control.
- Manages assigned supervisors and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Participates/Facilitates regular team meetings to discuss issues, share knowledge, share achievements, provide training and direction.
- Implements regular toolbox meeting.
- Attends training and development activities.
- Provides feedbacks on the learning for possible adaptation of the team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science or equivalent. Licensed will be an advantage.
- Additional course in business or administration are recommended.
- Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in a farming-related field.
- Management experience would be a plus.
- A passion for agriculture.
