Production and QC Specialist

• Diligently monitor and evaluate timelines for all New Product Launches, ensuring the timely completion of all production-related tasks.
• Consistently update estimated time of arrival (ETA) for new SKUs, providing accurate and up-to-date information for effective planning.
• Maintain a vigilant watch over factory performance metrics, striving for excellence in Delivered In Full On Time (DIFOT) metrics.
• Conduct thorough assessments of production delivery risks, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing preemptive measures to mitigate them.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address any production-related issues promptly and ensure smooth operations.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, optimizing efficiency and enhancing the overall performance of the production supply planning process.

• Conduct thorough reviews of Artwork, Print Proof (APP), and Top of Production (TOP) samples to ensure alignment with Kitsch standards and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to address any discrepancies and ensure that all pre-production processes adhere to established guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all pre-production approvals, utilizing Asana to track and manage tasks effectively.
• Receive, review, and provide sign-off on TOP samples, ensuring accuracy and quality before proceeding to bulk production.
• Continuously assess and refine standards and benchmarks for bulk production, striving for excellence and consistency in product quality.
• Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate communication and streamline pre-production workflows..

• Deep understanding on both soft and hard goods and international cosmetic regulations.
• Conduct thorough investigations into product quality issues, including customer complaints and returns, to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that all Kitsch product standards are met consistently, maintaining our reputation for excellence in quality and craftsmanship.
• Foster open and direct communication with suppliers and Kitsch team members to address quality concerns promptly and develop effective solutions.
• Perform physical checks and evaluations on samples using various testing methods (drop tests, open-close tests, scratch tests, laundry tests, etc.) to verify compliance with Kitsch quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement the best action plans and solutions, ensuring that quality issues are addressed at the source.
• Continuously monitor and assess quality control processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure ongoing excellence in product quality
• Oversee the record-keeping and file management of factory audit reports, test results, inspection findings, and certifications, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that all documentation aligns with established standards and requirements.
• Liaise with reputable third-party companies such as Intertek, Bureau Veritas, SGS, etc., to obtain complete and valid audits, tests, and certifications for all SKUs.
• Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Continuously assess and optimize document management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in quality control/assurance roles.
• Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
