The Engineering Assistant assists project teams involved in different aspects of mechanical, structural and/or piping production, layout, installation and testing. He works actively on-site with other engineers to oversee manufacturing processes and ensures implementation of safe working practices.The Engineering Assistant's duties require him to work outdoors on the shop floor, internal, external, and must possess a level of physical fitness appropriate to the job requirements.The Engineering Assistant will collaborate and assist with other Engineers in civil, chemical, electrical, HVAC or manufacturing and typically assist with the design, development, and evaluation of processes and products.Other Job Responsibilities:

Performing regular inspections of equipment and scheduling maintenance or repairs.
Providing assistance to different staff or engineering teams.
Inspecting inventory and reporting inconsistencies as well as ordering more materials.
Performing repairs and maintenance of cold storages, air conditioning, genset, wastewater equipment, blasting equipment, production machines, piping and ducting.
May be assigned and tasked to operate, maintain and repair the boiler.
Other tasks that are not stipulated but required by the company.
