OKTA Engineer - PH (Part Time)

- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to understand their needs and deliver a cost-effective solution
- Implement and support OKTA platform changes and configuration of OKTA products, ensuring seamless integration with clients' existing systems and applications
- Suggest new functionality as an improvement to existing OKTA platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve OKTA access-related issues and incidents
- Configure and customize OKTA to meet specific business requirements
- Monitor the OKTA support system and be able to research OKTA documentation and/or contact external OKTA resources in order to research and develop solutions to issues as they occur
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in OKTA technology and proactively apply them
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, architects, and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of OKTA projects
- Perform other duties as needed by the role
- Have over 4 years of proven experience as an OKTA Engineer, supporting and implementing Okta-based solutions
- Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
- Have a comprehensive understanding of OKTA's services and integration features, including but not limited to:
- OKTA OIE
- OKTA Universal Directory
- OKTA Lifecycle Management
- OKTA Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication
- OKTA API Access Management
- OKTA Access Gateway
- Workday
- ServiceNow
- Splunk
- Have knowledge and ability to create OKTA APIs for custom integrations and solutions.
- Have a solid understanding of identity management and security policy concepts, protocols, and best practices
- Have proficiency in integrating OKTA with various types of applications (SaaS, on-prem, mobile), as well as directories (like Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Google, and LDAP).
- Be experienced with SSO protocols: such as SAML expressions, OIDC configurations and OAth
- Have an experience with implementing SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication using OKTA
- Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have proven client relationship skills
- Be currently residing in the Philippines and can perform work from there
- Be willing to install next generation endpoint protection on the computer
- Have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
- Be willing to install and use a time keeping app while performing duties with the company
- Be willing to work for up to 20 hours per week within US Pacific time zone (8am - 5pm PST) or within client hours as required
