Our Engineering Center in the Philippines provides state-of-the-art design solutions and professional engineering support to various countries within the MEAAP area.To ensure timely and hands-on support, Doka Australia will require qualified formwork engineers who know our products well, are familiar with local standards and confident users of Revit and our in-house software.The successful applicants will spend 2 years at our MEAAP Engineering Team in the Philippines before relocating to Australia. During this period, they will receive thorough training and assessment, work on relevant projects and spend one month per year in Australia.After successful completion of the program and visa approval, the applicants will relocate to Australia with an expectation of working for our Doka organisation for at least 3 years.To be eligible for this program, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Civil or Strucutral Engineering and at least 3 years of professional experience.Job DescriptionAs a Project Technician, you will be able to work independently on formwork design planning and provide support to sales on proposals and pitching solutions to clients.

Maintaining regular contact with customers and the sales organization as a problem solver and discussion partner
Working with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings, Revit formwork models using Doka formwork systems during the proposal stage of construction projects and finalize the solution to be used for actual jobsites
Ensuring that the drawings and solutions indicate the proper use of Doka forming equipment and that the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient designs.
Performing static analysis and prepare specifications for deliveries.
Providing material lists for quotations to Sales and Operations team for shipments to site
Participating in staff training programs ensuring continuous training is provided in calculations, formwork, product knowledge, computer systems/software applications, etc.
Supporting the Sales Team by determining appropriate formwork solutions that meet the customers' needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines)
Ensuring that work is designed with available inventory and in adherence with contractual obligations
Ensuring that the policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and compliance are adhered to

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in formwork engineering
Strong design skills in AutoCAD 2D
Skills in AutoCAD 3D, Revit & Inventor are an advantage
Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems are an advantage
Ability to work individually and in a team environment on standard and major projects
Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets
Able to work independently and as a team player in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
Confident individual with intercultural understanding and the will to succeed in a new environment
Resilient, adaptable and flexible personality
Well-developed analytical skills and technical proficiency
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
Ability to listen and ask the right question to understand all requirements and find the best solution
