As a Business Development Executive in the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. You will be responsible for comprehending and overseeing our vast network of distributors, dealers and retailers while also keeping an eye on competitors. Your ability to forge strong relationships will be key as you nurture ties with developers and retailers across your region. With your excellent presentation skills, you will introduce new products to major specifiers and secure their approval. You will also manage project and retail activities in your region to meet sales objectives.
- Comprehend and oversee our distributors, dealers, retailers, competitors, and other market intelligence
- Forge and uphold regular communication with major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers, and the lodging industry within the designated area
- Nurture strong ties with developers, distributors, dealers, and retailers in the region
- Manage and execute presentations to major specifiers to introduce new products, aid in product selection, draft proposals, specifications, and secure approval for products
- Coordinate, develop, assess, and review the annual budget for development execution in the region
- Create and oversee a strategic, cohesive, and enduring sales network
- Offer recommendations for the development of a new retail sales network
- Provide advice on troubleshooting methods concerning distributors' grievances
- Manage project and retail activities in your region to meet sales objectives
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Executive role brings a wealth of experience from a sales background with a particular focus on retail and project sales. A university degree in marketing or business administration would be advantageous. You are known for your ability to produce thorough and accurate work, and you have a knack for identifying and championing new ideas for improvement and growth. You are adaptable, able to respond to the changing needs of the business with enthusiasm and commitment.
- University/college degree in marketing or business administration is preferred
- At least three to five years' sales experience coupled with extensive background in retail and project sales type business
- Ability to produce work product that is thorough and accurate
- Ability to respond to changing needs of the business; personally identify and champion new ideas for improvement and growth
