An individual with expertise in the estimation of costs for both indoor and outdoor commercial buildings, the construction of OSP and wireless telecommunications infrastructure, and electric vehicle charging stations is desired. The candidate must possess both the ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Accountable for performing conceptual estimating, conducting cost analysis, coordinating estimates, and consolidating relevant information.
Reviews the design scope and develops quantities.
Conducts an analysis of productivity pertaining to estimates and formulates contingency plans, escalation plans, and reconciliations for said estimates.
Performs comparisons of scope, quantity, and cost data across different projects
Responsible for creating management presentations and establishing the foundation for cost estimation.
Responsible for the regular updating and maintenance of historical cost data
Conducts a thorough evaluation of designs and specifications to determine their cost effectiveness and provides recommendations for alternative options when deemed necessary.
Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects resulting from improvement implementation.

Qualifications

10-15 years of experience in civil and electrical works cost estimation.
An independent contributor who is adept at functioning with or without subordinates.
A bachelor's degree or master's degree in construction management or a closely associated field is preferred but not required.
Experience in the field or on a project is an advantage.
Experience with indoor, outdoor, and commercial building and space construction and EV charging station estimates is an advantage.
Microsoft tools expert
Excellent presentation skills
Outstanding in both writing and speaking.
Effectively coordinates in a proactive manner with the team.
