What you will do: The Associate Director of Laundry Operations is second in command in leading the operations of the laundry and uniforms department. He/she assists in determining the plant capacity, equipment requirements and system to provide operational efficiency and future flexibility. He/she will also be required to lead, train and mentor the day-to-day operation system. Oversees Laundry's overall services and operations. Manages FM staff to ensure the successful delivery of Laundry Operations Facilities. Reviews related correspondence, prepares responses, and follow ups with various departments, incl. trouble shooting and problem solving. Certifies certificates for payments by Laundry Operations vendors. Provides regular updates to Facilities Management on upcoming and deferred preventive maintenance, work orders and histories, and vendor reports. Performs assessments on Laundry Operations issues with equipment, perform troubleshooting with the technical team and analyze results to be able to identify and establish corrections, repairs, and maintenance plans. Performs Inspections, Testing and Maintenance Operations tasks. Delivers fully operational laundry plant in a timely and cost-effective manner. Assists in providing direction in the planning of one -on-site and one off-site quality laundry facility. Develops appropriate procedures and programs for effective management of the laundry operations. Establishes and implements service quality standard in each piece of garment. Other job-related responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. What we need: Laundry Facility Management, Supervision & Administration Staff rostering and planning. Engineering Degree (Hospitality) Electrical and or Mechanical Languages English, Tagalog and Chinese (well regarded) General Management and Administration Duties Competent with Microsoft applications Use of computer aided control systems Use of BMS and Equipment maintenance scheduling and operations, including repairs and breakdown responses Exceptional leadership trait Strong communication and Interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills Time Management skills Organizational skills Adaptable to the job's requirement Bachelor's degree in business, facility management.
